This workshop is all about gaining real insight into drawing the human form, whether working from still images or life. Suitable for beginners or experienced artists, we will cover all the vital aspects of drawing the figure, how to understand the form, foreshortening and all those challenges the body entails.
We will also look at a variety of drawing media to bring a further range of possibilities to capturing and expressing your subject. This workshop will make a real difference to what you can achieve with your figurative artworks, giving you strategies to overcome any problem and enjoy drawing your subjects with confidence and flare! Please note: we will not be working from a live model.
What to bring: You will need a drawing pad and pencil. All other materials are supplied in course fee.
