In this exhibition Natasha brings us into her world of textile design, from the initial concept right through to the finished product. Preferring to work with only natural fibres she uses a range of conscientious and time-honoured methods to create and customise beautiful, environmentally sound textiles.
Nature is widely reflected in Natasha’s work - not just in fibre, thread and print but also in process. As in nature, Slow Woven celebrates the concept of taking one’s time to create. Embracing the process rather than rushing the outcome, and in-turn producing a bespoke object of beauty that will be treasured by its owner for many years to come.
