Join Our Creative Community Volunteer with Us!
The Feilding and District Art Society is more than just an art club - it’s a vibrant, welcoming community of creativity, connection, and inspiration. Since 1969, passionate volunteers have helped grow our local society into a thriving art hub enjoyed by visitors from across New Zealand. And now, we’d love for you to be part of our story.
As we continue to grow, volunteers remain at the heart of everything we do. Whether you enjoy meeting people, love being surrounded by art, or simply want to give back to your community, there’s a place for you here.
How you can get involved:
Welcome visitors and help with gallery minding
Assist with customer service and retail sales
Support exhibition installation
Lend a hand with general upkeep and maintenance
Help at the Manawatu Art EXPO
Get involved behind the scenes with marketing, databases and/or record keeping.
No art experience? No problem! You don’t need to be an artist to make a valuable contribution. We provide training and offer flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle. We're happy to support a transition to work, work experience and/or community volunteering hours for awards.
