Join us at the Feilding Art Centre to celebrate creativity, view the exhibition, and discover the prize winners.

Key Criteria

  • Free Entry – There is no charge to enter.

  • One Entry Per Artist – Entries are limited to one artwork per person.

  • Open to Everyone – Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.

  • Any Medium – Entries may be created using painting, drawing, digital art, mixed media, collage, sculpture, or any other creative medium.

  • Any Size - as long as it can be installed in the gallery

  • Dalí-Inspired Theme – Create a portrait inspired by the imaginative and surreal world of Salvador Dalí.

  • Submission Deadline – Deliver your completed artwork, together with your entry form, to the Feilding Art Centre, 104 Manchester Street, Feilding, by 4:00pm on 31 August to be eligible for judging.

    Most importantly: be imaginative, take creative risks, and have fun! 🎨✨

Full Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry is free.

  2. This competition is open to everyone, with no age restrictions.

  3. Entries are limited to one artwork per artist.

  4. All artworks must be inspired by the imaginative and surreal world of Salvador Dalí. Entrants may colour the provided portrait template or create an entirely original Dalí-inspired portrait.

  5. Entries may be created using any medium, including drawing, painting, digital art, mixed media, collage, sculpture, or other creative approaches.

  6. Artwork should be the entrant's own original work and must not infringe on the copyright or intellectual property rights of others.

  7. Completed artworks must be accompanied by a completed entry form and delivered to:

    Feilding

  8. Entries must be received by 4:00pm on 31 August. Late entries may not be accepted.

  9. All artworks submitted will be displayed as part of the competition exhibition, subject to available space and suitability for display.

  10. The Feilding and District Art Society will take reasonable care when handling artworks but accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to submitted works.

  11. By entering the competition, entrants grant the Feilding and District Art Society permission to photograph and reproduce images of submitted artworks for promotional, educational, and publicity purposes, including use in print, online, and social media.

  12. Prize winners will be selected by a judging panel appointed by the Feilding and District Art Society. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  13. Artworks must be suitable for a family audience. The Society reserves the right to refuse entry or remove from display any work deemed offensive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the spirit of the competition.

  14. Entrants may be invited to attend the Awards Evening on Friday 11 September at 5:30pm, where prize winners will be announced.

  15. The Feilding and District Art Society reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions if necessary and to make decisions on matters not covered by these conditions.

  16. Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
