Photo Safari: A Photographic Journey in 9 Different Directions
Photo Safari brings together nine Manawatu-Whanganui photographers whose creative journey began in UCOL photography classes in 2024. What started as a shared learning experience has grown into a supportive creative community, with each photographer developing their own unique style and perspective.
The exhibition features work by Adrian Kirk, Aroha Edmond, Fiona Wood, Kerryn Whitehead, Micaela McIntosh, Naidene Schneider, Neil Shelley, Rhianne Todd, and Stephen Mackintosh.
Through regular photographic outings, or "safaris", the group explores landscapes, people, nature, and everyday moments, capturing the world through different lenses and viewpoints. The exhibition showcases a diverse collection of work that celebrates observation, creativity, and the many ways we see and interpret our surroundings.
We invite visitors to discover nine distinct photographic voices and experience the world from nine different directions.
