Discover Watercolour: Beginner Workshops

Join local artist Jodi Calkin for a relaxed and supportive six-week introduction to watercolour painting. Perfect for complete beginners, this course will guide you through fundamental techniques and help you build confidence as you explore the unique beauty of watercolour.

Over six weekly sessions, you'll learn about colour, brush control, washes, layering, and simple painting techniques while creating your own artworks in a friendly and encouraging environment.

What to Bring:

• All materials will be supplied for your first session.
• For subsequent classes, you will need to bring your own watercolour paper. Jodi will explain exactly what to purchase and where to buy it, ensuring you get good-quality materials without spending more than necessary.
• If you already have watercolour supplies at home, feel free to bring them along. Jodi will be happy to help you assess what you have and advise whether the materials are suitable for the course.
