From 12 August to 1 September, Feilding Art Centre plays host to a suite of miniature masterpieces, created by artists from around the Manawatu-Whanganui region!

The Feilding and District Art Society has set local artists a challenge: produce an artwork in any medium, any style using any technique... but make it tiny.
Our inaugural Small Works Exhibition embraces the mantra that great things come in small packages. More than 20 artists have taken on teh challenge to produce artwork which is no larger than 25x30cm. Together, these artists are exhibiting over 80 artworks, each of them a miniature masterpiece. Visitors to this exhibition will find vast landscapes painted on dainty 8cm canvases, portraits no larger than postcards, and pastels that could fit into a pocket! Marvel at the technical prowess of artists' abilities capture their subjects on such a small scale, and take joy in the small things in this brilliant new exhibition featuring artists from across our region.
