Feature Artist
Salvador Dali (1904 - 1989)

We have 11 Original Dali Etchings!

The Feilding and District Art Society has caught the attention of some benefactors, who can see that this organisation is doing awesome things. The most recent of which has entrusted us with 11 original Dali etchings, to be sold on-behalf-of, with a generous amount donated toward the Art Centre.

Each Dali etching is complete with provenance (authentication documents), most showing valuations of over $5000 nearly 20 years ago. The Art Centre will be exhibiting these art works, along with their provenance, at The Manawatu Art Expo (July 19, 20, 21 at the Palmerston North Conference Centre),  to allow the public to have the opportunity to view these unique Dali pieces.

These art works are not the melting clocks that Salvador Dali is most famous for, nor the burning giraffe on stilt legs or the lady full of draws.  These are limited edition and hand-signed etchings, from a selection of works he created between 1960 and 1975.

The Feilding and District Art Society will be selling the art works at the Manawatu Art Expo via silent auction. Those interested can place a bid on their favourite Dali(s) from 5.30pm Thursday the 18th, at our EXPO Preview Evening, until Sunday 2.00pm.

This might be your chance to add a renown European Artist to your walls! Scroll down to see our collection.
