Manawatū Art Expo is back for 2024.

We are now seeing applications from artists across New Zealand, to share and sell their art in our region this July.

Manawatū Art Expo - Our Region's Longest Running Art Event!

This cash and carry art show is your opportunity to see and buy original artwork, by emerging and established artists from around New Zealand... right here in the Manawatū!

Artists from as far north as Auckland and as far south as Christchurch will converge at Palmerston North Conference and Function Centre for Manawatū Art Expo from July 19 to 21.

Among them will be guest artist, Lizzie Beere. Based in Heretaunga, Lizzie is best known for her large abstract botanical paintings. She works in a loose, non-representational style, expanding and exploding the traditions of floral still life. Her work is often wild, raw and imperfect, reflective of the battle scars and endurance in the human condition. Lizzie will be among half a dozen artists running live demos throughout Expo weekend – sharing their practice and inspiring you to give art a go.

Artists - get involved!

Applications are now open for artists wanting to show their work at Manawatū Art Expo.

There are a range of display categories available, depending on whether you'd like to present a mini exhibition or just submit a handful of pieces. We welcome applications from artists in a range of media (terms and conditions apply) and of all experience levels.
