Robyn Parkinson creates hand-carved spoons from locally-sourced woods. Working in the tradition of Japanese wabi-sabi, perfection is not Robyn's goal. She carves, sands, burnishes and oils each spoon herself. In the process, she lets the wood decide its final shape - allowing natural curves, bends and grooves emerge.The result is a series of spoons that are soft to the touch, comfortable to hold, and marvellous to look at - each one totally unique.
