Manawatū Art Expo supports artists from all over New Zealand to sell their works, meet other artists, and connect directly with the thousands of art lovers who visit each year.

General Artists - Prep
Art Work Submission Form
For the General Exhibition/Non‑Bay Artists, we will create your labels and display a short bio for each artist. Please send us your information by the 26th of June.
Label Information Download one of the forms below. Excel is preferred if you can open it - enter your details directly into the document. The first line is an example; you can delete it once you’ve read it.
If you can’t edit an Excel file, you have a few alternatives:
Create your own version in Google Docs or Google Sheets
Use the compatible .doc file provided below and type your label information into that
As a last resort, type your label information directly into an email
Don't forget this information includes your Name, Artwork Title, Medium, & Price (with commission added).
Artist Statement Write a simple 30–40 word bio - type this straight into your email. Keep it clear and to the point. As a guide, include:
Your name
Your art medium and/or style
Where you are based or originally from
A note about your inspiration
Your social media or website links

Bay Artists - Prep
Bay Installation Times
As a Bay Exhibitor, you are responsible for installing your own artworks. You may install during the following times:
Wednesday, July 15 - 2:00pm to 4:30pm
Thursday, July 16 - 9:00am to 2:00pm
You will Need to have an Artist Statement/Bio
This is a professional looking A4 document showcasing you - the artist.
Print this in colour, mount it or frame it and display it nicely with your business cards.
Artwork Labels🏷️
Every artwork must have a professional label that matches the swing tags.
You can format your labels using our template - Download the template from the link below - or you can create your own.
Print labels on white card, cut out and bring them with you on installation day.
If you need to - email us your completed label form by July 1st. We will print them for you, ready for you to cut out on install day.
Installation Deadline⏰
All bays must be fully installed by 2:00pm on Thursday, July 16.
ALL EXPO Artists - Social Graphics for Artists
To help you promote your involvement in this year's Manawatū Art Expo, we've created a selection of square social media graphics for participating artists to download and use.
Simply add your own artwork, details, or personal touch, then share them across your social media channels to let your friends, family, followers, and collectors know you'll be exhibiting at EXPO.
